CAREGIVER FLOWER DELIVERY VOLUNTEER

Volunteers will make sure the event runs smoothly and the flowers are delivered in a timely manner.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Ability to get along with others

·        Ability to maintain confidentiality

·        Ability to communicate effectively and verbally and to follow

·        Willing to commit at least 2 hours, one day a year

·        Ability to recruit, mentor and train additional volunteers

·        Ability to drive and have access to a reliable working vehicle.

DUTIES:

·        Attend volunteer orientation and other trainings relevant to the event as required by the Council for Older Adults.

·        Delivery flowers to county caregivers at their homes or place of business.

·        Be knowledgeable of travel in Delaware County

·        Comply with established policy and procedures of the Council for Older Adults

TRAINING REQUIREMENT: Volunteer Mission, Vision and Values Orientation

TIME FRAME:

This is a one day, 2-4 hour event during regular business hours in May starting at approximately 1 pm.

Outreach Assistant or Coordinator of Volunteers
